Student Advisory Board

The department has established a Student Advisory Board (SAB)composed of undergraduate and graduate students at various levels in the curriculum. The group is to provide important input to the faculty and staff from the student perspective.

 

Purpose/Mission

Evaluate, assess and make recommendations for improvement of the undergraduate and graduate degree programs in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. The SAB is to look at the traditional "hard" issues related to curriculum, instruction, facilities, and operations. They will also address the "soft" issues related to faculty/student/staff relations, advising, mentoring, and professional development. In general the board will provide input to improve the quality of the educational experience within the department, college and university. Current board members are:
